Missy vs the ghost crab

Our little missy managed to catch a ghost/sand/crab out in the open. She is such a hunter! They were staring eye to eye!
The crab kept trying to find a hole big enough for itself to hide in.

After the chase dear hubby guided the crab back up the area of all the big holes.

After working down that way in Maryland for a year I thought for sure NO crab if found would escape the hard roll.

This one escaped! She was close enough to get a nose nip by the claws, but she moves fast. As soon as the crab went to grab her she jumped back. She didn't seem to want to grab and bite it. Just bark and chase.

love it being mean and all the time wagging her tail .pickles went nuts barking back at her from my lap .cheering her on I guess

Glad it didn't pinch her little nose! She is a fast little thing!

A crab came right up to my chair and stared at me. Think it want to play again.

She's a feisty little huntress !

We have to really watch her, anything that moves is worthy of hunting. She has a nose on her that is unreal she tracks smells on the concrete.
