Hello. I am seeking advice regarding moving my koi. I plan to use a large plastic tote with an aerator.

Will that provide enough oxygen for him?
Should I add a conditioner (Prime or Stress Coat) to the water.
What size container would be best?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i would have two basins or one tote and one bag with the same water DON'T FEED YOUR FISH FOR A SEVERAL DAYS before you plan to move. after four or five hours remove as much water as you brought basically a mini water change in case levels spike. Yes to a battery operated air pump if not two in case one dies and extra batteries and i agree with adding stress coat to the tube

No need to add stress coat. Just crank up the aerator and make sure the water in the tote is clean
