Hi there, does anyone have any suggestions for a murky pond? I am changing the filter and the basket every 48 hours. Adding water as necessary.

Do you have any pics of the pond? would help out a lot in us being able to help you diagnose and correct the problem.
Is it murky as in muddy looking, cloudy looking, brown tint?
What type of filtration do you have? How much circulation is in the pond? How big is the pond? How many fish in it?

Many will us fine material like quilt batting to help get the particulate matter out of the water column, depending on what is causing the murky water.

Need more info, as stated. Water circulation and aeration may help.
The quilt batting thing is a good suggestion too. Basically you lay quilt batting (that white filler material) in a milk crate or a bucket with holes in it. Hang that over your pond with something like rope and point your pump outlet into the batting. When the batting gets dirty just rinse it and use it again. This helps with suspended particles.
