This shot is of the 2 Savio skimmer boxes in action. Black plastic lid & other is covered with flat granite. Skims 10,000 gallons per hour. So 85% of any floating debris & algae is captured.

Extra pics showing shape and rocks. I haven't cleaned this in 2 years so rocks are covered with topsoil blown in and layer of bio & algae.

NOw this is why I hate the liner showing. The deep end below the waterfall I left bare. In 2 years it still looks black and ugly. I will be covering the rest at the fall cleanout.

Night pictures are next.

I really like the shape! We are gonna be working on the siding of our pond this fall. We dug a huge hole during the early summer as an extension, and never really created edges for the walls. We have to go back and do it now. We may concrete the walls with stones and stuff. Haven't decided.

But your is really beautiful! Water is nice and clear as well.

Night shots. Really beautiful and the pics are only half as good as in real.

I would like opinions on the lights. Waterfall spotlights are cool white. All edge lighting is warm white [yellowish]. Do you think it looks good together? Should I hold out for matching cool white edge lighting or leave it alone?

The around pond edge lights look more white, but weaker light. I was thinking to do the 4 lights around the waterfall the same as pond edge.

I think the waterfall lights are really bright! I LOVE the floating LED light fountain. It floats? Looked like it was attached to a milk crate, but maybe that anchors it in place, instead of letting it float around. Where did you get it? I must have one!!! LOL
To me, lights should be soft, to accent, not too bright, so I like the outside lights just fine, love the contrast with the pond lights. You've done a great job. BTW, are your outside lights solar or electric? I'm a solar light junkie, have about 20 so far, pick them up only when on sale. Bought 2 brighter outside lights for the front of my house by sidewalk, solar, but 3 LED's each. Otherwise, my solar lights are warmer, not as bright, just "pretty". Thanks for sharing the photos! Never can see too much of outside and in water lights!

Outstanding job Wayne!! Love your Easter island and I can clearly see that you are indeed a RoCk-a-HoLiC!!! Please get some plants in soon, that would make everything even much more pretty!!! You can plant large sedges right into the rocks, no soil required, all you need is a large clump of my yellow flag iris, got one with your name on it!! :)

Thank you. The waterfall spotlights and floating fountain are from these guys.

http://www.mainlandm...om/ledmart.html QL25 & PJ-LR-48C are model #'s.

You will just have to trust me, in real the waterfall spotLts are not as overpowering as photos show. My digital camera is just entry level, and pics are not as good as could be.

The floating fountain is held in place by cement blocks that I placed last year for the overwintering pump. I will take them out this fall. You can anchor it down or let it float. I choose to anchor it as water movement would leave it in spots I don't want. It's also dragging a power cord and light cord. Oh the water spray height is not at max right now, it will go as high as 40". Did I mention it's so beautiful to look at? Each color stays about 2 seconds then slowly changes. If you count the colors, I would say 10-15. The idea behind this floating setup is to keep the LED lights above water to get the full color.

Outside lights are all H-depot 12volt, 12 volt wire & transformer. Brighter then any of their solar lights.
