My neighbors think I am crazy

So I have done every bit of this myself and have been learning along the way. This is my first pond, though I had an aquarium (poorly kept) many years ago.
I have been reading here a bit and thought I would join up. I don't have time to get into detail at the moment (at work and lunch is over) but will come back and edit in some more stuff later.

For know lets just go with a before and after pic or two.

Here is a much better after picture as well as a shot of my pump and filter setup. Also a shot of the structure being built up around it to hide it.

I will do a write up on the whole setup tomorrow...been a long work day. I have tons of pictures of the pond build in progress if the consensus is people would like to see them I will post more.

Unfortunately, I just found a couple of my fish have something called pop eye.
