My new custom painted koi bio filter

    Sorry my first post and i duplicated it by mistake. See the other one for pics...
    I didn't have enough bio so i decided to build a 55 gallon drum DYI bio filter and then I had it custom painted. I think it came out nice.

    really nice job .I have had painting my rain barrels on my mind for years ,but just never get to it .I may have to do it before the family gets in this weekend

    Nice? It came out GREAT! Good job! That would be beautiful next to a pond even it you DIDN'T need the extra filtration!

    It's one of the nicest filters I've seen. Very well done, will look great beside any pond.

    Thanks everyone. I appreciate the positive feedback. I got the idea from some koi throw pillows i bought for my day bed. They had a hand painted look so i figured that would look nice on the barrel.
