My Whiskey Barrel WIP

Hey y’all! Wanted to show off my current project. Since moving out of my parents house I’ve been apartment living. I’ve kept tanks since then, but this is my first “pond” in awhile. Watch the video to check out my Venturi and internal filter and such.

Added some Pothos cuttings to the perimeter. Hoping the eventually disguise the top of the plastic liner. And of course they’ll help keep the water clean.

I’m going to NYC for the next week, and then home to Nebraska for the following week, but then I’ll head back here to LA. I will head to King Koi & Goldfish and pick out my new fish then!

I got myself into ponding in high school, using this forum! 10 years ago now. It runs deep and I really miss it now that I live in the big city.

There will be a full video soon, but the filter is up and running and is now planted!

Planted inside are pothos, sweet potato plants, pennywort, creeping Jenny, something purple I’m not sure about, and elephant ear.
