Hello
A couple of weeks ago a bought a ton off water hyacinths and lilypads for my pond. The guy practically gave them to me so I ended up going home with too much. I put the extra in my ducks kiddy pool (8' round, 2' deep). Today, while draining the pool, I noticed dozens and dozens of tiny fry. I don't know if they are koi or goldfish fry, but they are less than half the width of my thumbnail. I guess the plants had eggs on them, and they hatched in my pool. They obviously weren't ready for the pond so I put them in a 7 gallon tank inside. What should I feed them? I don't know their age or if they are what kind of fish they are( the craigslist guy had koi and goldfish). Can I just blend up some goldfish flakes or koi food? I have tropical flakes as well. Are there any other things I need to know about raising fry? Thanks!

There are quite a few fry reports on the forum that will give you great details different ways different people have sucsessfully raised fry. Raising anything that would have come from a pond like that will start the same way. baby live brine shrimp are a first food. past that point there are many different methods.

Try that and see if it works, I've never linked it this way before.
