Hi there
Hope you are all doing well, Im hoping someone can give me some help and advice on how to fix my oase skimmer 40
http://www.swelluk.com/pond/pond-fi...m_source=product-search&utm_medium=googlebase
It is attached to an oase pump the aquamax 16000.
The pipe attaching the 2 is 1.5inch. And i currently have it set to 3 of 4 of the flow rating on the aquamax, I have tried it on 4, but get the same results.
Basically the skimmer goes down, and starts skimming, everything is good... and starts taking water in and all the rubbish from the top of the surface, but after a short while, sometimes 5 mins, others 15 mins.. it just pops up. I press it back down and it works again fine straight away.
Ive moved the hose a little, and the pump to see if there is any air locks, but doesnt seem to be, also for your information the pump and skimmer are at the same level, so pipe is flat along the pond floor.
I have also made sure all connections are on right and are tight.
Anyone who could give me any advice, would be appreciated
Regards
Phil
