i have shubbies spawning like crazy and have three babies getting big enough to show color. I would love to see other people's babies. These will be rehomed when they get bigger, but I enjoy watching them grow till then.

I read somewhere that they might? I'm going to call pet smart and petco when they get a little bigger, but I may just post signs at the local garden centers

Neither Petco nor Petsmart will take them in our area, but we do have a local independent pet store that said they would take them as fast as we could deliver - they're gonna get a bucket full this year!

Oh nice I have one nearby I'll try them as well! In my upper pond I have at least forty that are still alive, so they can have a bucket full as well!

Nice pictures, but I never take out babies. I let nature take it's course. My pond had gone from 8 fish to over 50 pretty much on it's own.

Fifty! That's why I gotta rehome these bad boys! No room for all of them. But watching them grow has been fun. Hopefully they will find nice homes elsewhere. The last two spawns I didn't even try to remove eggs, just let the others have their way with them.

I was able to find new homes for the babies using craigslist. Was able to give them all new homes in less than a couple of hours.
