The old pond is being moved to where the 3 tier rockery is in the right hand corner of the garden. It will be twice the volume and on two levels with a small stream and waterfall.

so got started on the dig. cant get a digger in my garden so having to do it all by hand. Wife is not happy that she cant sit on the decking in our rare Scottish sunshine. Although the fish in the old pond are enjoying the sun.
Im off for 2 weeks now so hopefully fast progress.

I feel your pain about the digging. This was years ago in my back yard digging our second pond. About a foot down I hit rock which made it so much more fun! But it was a great excuse if I was in trouble and she needed to cool off to just go out there and dig. Good luck.
