Hi all,

Anyone needing to get rid of some bog plants? Gladly pay for some plants to get mine started. Unless the recommendation would be to plant everything in the spring.

I live by one of the biggest marginal plant farms in wi, I’m planning on visiting in the spring to get it all started.

Welcome! Honestly I’d wait at this point. I’m in northeast IL - winter is coming.

What’s the name of the farm you plan to visit? I’m always interested in a new location!

Nice! I’m just northwest of Milwaukee. Marshland Transplant is the name of the place. Really weird spot from the road but once you figure out where the greenhouses are it’s pretty awesome.

I like Steinie’s Water Gardens in Two Rivers. Plants are pretty sizable so less waiting for growth/uptake, prices are pretty reasonable. IIRC everything was $15 or under except some of the lilies or other exotic.

This is no surprise , i see no problem in planting now, so long as the area is not frozen. Some plants still grow though very slowly the roots can reestablish there fine hairs. when things start to thaw. BUT MORE SO YOU MAY GET SOME GOOD DISCOUNTS. this could backfire as you won't realy know what your getting until spring
