I now have 8 new additions to our pond and they are huge! Ok for goldfish and one shubunkin who is definately huge as he/she is as big as my hand! Totally suprised that the couple I got them from didn't want anything for them...and a water lily that has way overgrown it's basket it was in. Then after introducing them to their new home (about 2 hours later) I noticed two chasing one of the white ones...uh oh...lol (dang might have to make the pond bigger!) as they were all off the bottom and happily swimming around (so kewl).
THEN I noticed a fish that looked like one of mine I thought had disappeared!! WAY smaller than the 8 I just put in! Yet did not see my goldie or black/gold one...although it did dart back behind some rocks that I made into a cubby hole behind the waterfall...hummmm. I DID get the netting over it although just in case! It's dark now so have to go out tmrw and check it out...maybe something did get my other two or just gold one (and my mostly black/with some gold one is still in hiding) and this one has been in hiding until I brought it more friends??
