New from Maryland

Just joined today!
I live on Eastern Shore of Maryland and love gardening. I have always wanted a koi pond, and finally have the space and got my husband to agree to help. I have spent my spring break digging the pond. I have been doing a lot of research to determine the size, the filter, liner, plants, fish, etc and stumbled upon this forum. Hopefully, I will be able to enlist the help from others more experienced with ponds as I begin this new hobby!

welcome and good you got the hubby on board free labor lol.Remember koi get big and bigger and are fussy about water conditions .Mine were a couple of inches long in 2004 and are now over 2 feet .A lot of work also ,but i do love them
