I find large fish can get their scales damaged just moving them, so best not to move if they are very large koi. I think they will heal better if the water quality is good and left alone seems to work best sometimes.

From aquarium knowledge, I know nothing about ponds, but fish is fish, try adding crushed garlic to the water, helps the immune system. It might not speed things up much but it will help prevent infection, and it's just generally good for them. They will eat it, and that's good for them too.

I add garlic to my fish food every spring to help them feed and help them fight off disease
