new member new pond ???

I live in se pa I just made a pond 20' x 35' x 3' in center shallower edges and shelves.
not sure what I should be asking so new to this pond thing.
I have a 4800 gph pump feeding a 150 gal stock tank bio filter overflowing as falls. at the one end I have a small 500 gph filter just to move more water. I have some floating plants and about 24 gold fish (small) going to get more plants today. any comments or ideas welcome
