New Member with Patio Pond

Hello,

I've learned a lot from your forum and am joining now that I have my pond up and running.

I have a 240 gallon patio pond that is home to 5 goldfish. I built everything with no carpentry skills or tools. : )

The pond has been up for a month, and I've learned some things I want to do differently. So I'm already working on a new, bigger pond.

My hobby began a year ago when my children won these two common goldfish from the California State Fair.

I'm enjoying doing everything myself, but someday I would like a professional pond with a viewing window. : )

I love that you did this on your own for fish that your kids won at a fair. So many fish that are given away as prizes end up suffering and dying due to either ignorance or just plain cruel people.
