Thought I'd share my new patio pond. I bought the largest watertight planter I could find at the local discount store, used a $10 pump from amazon and tubing and other bits I had around to make a filter/fountain for it.
I put a supposed "dwarf aquarium lily" that was too big for the tank it was in in the bottom and floated some water lettuce. A little creeping jenny and a coleus to add some height to the vegetation... There are 10 Golden White Mountain Minnows also, infrequently glimpsed.
