New pond build

The pond placement works great with the house isn't the water fall semi looking away from the house?

Yes slightly but you can see it when you are sitting on the front porch. Can also see it when sitting on the big rock, the beach and pretty much everywhere . I didn’t realize how well the skimmer would actually work, it’s pretty amazing!

I really love that sandy beach! I'm assuming that walking on it will probably make the water a bit murky, but that certainly wouldn't deter me from going for a dip in it. Well done!

I have not done so yet but I am thinking about it to add sand in the shallows . My koi are picking up the 3/4 inch rocks and are dropping them in the deep end sand would end that. I believe the key is using course sand

It gets a little cloudy but clears up right away. I’m glad I ordered the extra sand, 30 yards in total!!

If you don’t plan on walking in it I would go with the course because it’s probably a lot cheaper too. I believe I have Mason sand which is perfect for a beach but was more pricey

Did you ever get the minnows? I recommend glow fish danios in orange
