Well, I went by the plant store a few days ago. They had started propagating the pond lilies. The really HUGE ones with the massive leaves and big pink blooms. So I spent $50 and bought one. Which came with 5 baby plants attached to it. And they gave me some more hyacinths and some duck weed.

I put the duck weed in my 35 gall 'pond', it has guppies and tadpoles in there, so hopefully it will start multiplying and I will have some to throw in the big pond for the koi.

Hopefully the lily and the baby ones like my pond and grow for me!

Really neat! Looking forward to pictures. The tropical lilies are so pretty. I have tried to grow them a few times, but they just don't do well. We are not warm enough.

Sooo the lily is acting weird. When I bought it at the nursery all the flowers were open and looked lovely. Mine for some reason seems to be a night blooming lily. Its currently open but closes around 11am.

Weird.

This is my SECOND night blooming lily, I need DAY blooming! LOL!
