New pond visitor

I've been hearing this guy for weeks now and he finally showed his face. He's been fascinated by our pond.

oh dear watch out because they do kill and eat fish there was a post showing one on here .I have a one eyed owl but he so far only goes after mice .

We have one too! Have only seen him once tho, but we hear him at night. lol. We also have a pair of Palliated Woodpeckers and a pair of Downy Woodpeckers. I've tried to get pictures but can't get close enough to get a good one.

I've got a net over the pond right now, mainly to keep the leaves and acorns out, but it also keeps the owl and the hawks out. This is one of four owls that frequent our yard, fun to watch.

I used to have one come to my arizona pond every night, it bathed in the stream right at dusk. Never bothered the fish

Owls are pretty cool, love they way they can turn their heads around like that possessed girl in the Exorcist movie
