New Pond weed, should I be concerned?

New pond this year, i've been watching the underwater mossy looking thing over past 2 months. Now it is extending stems to the surface. Anyone know they type of weed? Its sitting in about 2 feet of water.

I’m always concerned by anything I A. Did not plant and B. Seems to be growing rapidly.
