new "snowball" water lily

I just had a new water lily bloom- it had one flower for a few days, now another. it is a Gonnere lily.

Very exquisite looking. Would be nice for a pond wedding and have massive amounts blooming :lol:

pafek,really pretty. Looks like the hot sun burnt the bloom,i have trouble with my darker lilies getting burnt.

it was around 5-6" in diameter. It only lasted a few days, then a second one came up. That's been all for now- who knows when it will bloom again? Especially if the fish don't stop nibbling at the edges of the lily pads!

one side does look a little dried up, although I did take the photo on its second day of existence. Is the sun in Tucson hot, you ask? :rolleyes:

lol, i know it is hot here in Ohio to. Yea my darker blooms gets burnt like that to.

another water lily just bloomed- this time I took the photo as soon as it was completely opened, before the sun could fry it.

I don't have any pure white ones like that. or that big, hardies tend to be smaller.
