in the 600 gallon i just have some small pond goldfish that were born in my pond last year i wintered them inside---but they are small so i need to get a few koi in there for some action,,,

Brown, Really nice ponds. Your large pond is amazing. I have a small pond similar in size to yours and there is plenty of action when the goldfish start chasing each other!

For some reason in my small pond they keep hidden..not sure why have not had any predators..I added a couple 3 inch koi to it and we will see if they come out more ..before I just had 1 inch goldfish that had wintered in my fish tank

I would think that 1 inch goldfish would be very shy whether there would be predators or not. I never even saw my baby goldfish until they were over an inch long.

JW, I am looking for babies this year and so far can't find any. I didn't have any last year after the huge explosion from the year before. I always feel bad when my bigger fish go into the to sedge plants and start biting and pulling on things. Hopefully it's not baby tadpoles or fish!
