Good morning everyone (Afternoon/Night for you folks not in my time zone)
Here is the deal, I am in the planning phase for building an above ground wooden pond. Interior dimension will be roughly 5' x 4' x 3' (water depth). That gives me a volume of about 450 gallons. The dimension will change by a few inches due to space requirements and I am guessing I will end up with a total filled volume of 300 to 350 gallons.
The design of the pond will be almost identical to this.

Since I have been keeping various tanks for years (Salt, Fresh, Planted, turtle, etc...) I have a wide variety of random pumps available to me, I just need to get an idea of the GPH I should be pushing through my filter. The filter will be a 30 gallon scruby filter, would that be the right size for this?
Also, Would I need additional circulation pumps?
Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide.
