Newbie from far away

Hi all, seems to be a US oriented forum, but i found it really full of Infos and nice pics.
I'm writing from Italy, so a bit far away...but my hobby bring me here.

I got a lot of aquariums, but i always love water lilies and after got a house with garden and a turtle(graptemys pseudogeografica) i will make a pond...prolly in late winter or at start of spring, just to miss the ice and the snow.

the project is(sorry but UE measures) 3x2x0.80 m...when ill start with it ill post a bit of pics eh eh

The biggest suggestion you will get is make a bog for your filter! A no fuss pond filter wise.

Thanks a lot, prolly mechanical+bio filter from a canister then a lot of plants(juncus, iris pseudacorus and papyrus) and some cold water plants. This only because i should have only medaka+2 goldfishes(or gambusia and goldfishes) and my turtle....so isn't so big amount of wastes...my actual lil pond(a 80lt plastic tub) got 2 goldfishes and water is perfectly clear...later i'll post a pic of it

I'm late to this thread but never mind. We've exchanged a message before, on the question of drilling holes in plastic tanks, if you remember. Just wanted to say how I love your use of "prolly" for "probably", where did that come from? It makes sense, it's easier to say AND type. On the subject of sizing (EU versus Imperial versus American) here in the UK we have both metric and imperial running virtually side by side. Some thoughtless builder's merchants will mix them up while some clueless customers (ME!) will buy them mixed, then wonder why they don't fit together Another complication is that US gallons are different from Imperial gallons!

Ya ya, i remember ofc.
Almost all of my "bustard english" come from Online gaming where you have to learn to write/speak if you want play and my "cutting" come from there too...isn't perfect, but usually work well.
Damn...side by side both of them is a bit insane ahah...need a calculator always with you
