I inherited an older concrete pond with the house we bought several months ago. The pump was broken and the pond was nasty. I finally cleaned it out and got it up and running with just a fountain. No fish or plants yet. We've been having a lot of rain the past couple of days and the water level has gotten to where it is interfering with the fountain. Do I turn it off and wait for the water level to go down or do I just leave it alone? Or should I pump some water out?

I know this may seem to be a dumb question, but I'm totally new to this.

If the water from the pump is not making it to the top, put the pump up on a block ,,,you want the pond full.....Welcome to the forum
