Hi everybody!

I have been reading the forums for a long time and just recently made an account. My husband and I have property in central Texas with 2 ponds on it. One thats 2.5acres at 7-9ft deep and one thats 1.75acres 3-6ft deep (my problem child). I also have a watergarden/drainage garden that I'm growing so that my runoff into my larger ponds stays clean.

Thanks so much for all the great knowledge and experience!

What the issue with your problem pond? My first thought is full it with waterlillies of all colors and let them go wild! I’ve seen many ponds down into Texas covered in white or yellow lilies, so tempted to track down their owners and get permission to raid a few tubers, but I was always busy working when I went down.
