Old pond bacterial inoculant

I have half a bottle of gel filter pad bacterial inoculant, left over from last Spring and was thinking if I can use it this Spring or not? What do you think? RDK

Sometimes they have an expire date on them. I would think the worse thing would be the bacteria would be not as good.

well if i were you i wouldnt just in case because it could even make things toxic if its expired what kind is it
