Old pond new owner

Hi, just taken over an old pond, very overgrown and neglected. it was full of iris and pond weeds. Have been spent the last couple of months clearing it. My plan is to keep it natural/wild with some garden plantings around it. To be honest I've never had a pond, so expect to be asking and

reading a lot over the coming years.
