I really lucked out getting two bubble bees in two adjacent trumpet vine blossoms at the same time.

That's exactly right Becky. Bumble bees loved the trumpet blooms but the large vines became destructive and had to go. Luckily, we have a desert willow tree that produces georageous lavender lacy trumpet like blooms. It is a must stop for nectar loving flying insects. Nature is so wonderful.
