Our family pond is progressing more quickly than I anticipated. The kids have done all the digging. Here are the first pics of the progress.

Meet Mr T, the Visionary and Senior Motivator behind our family pond project.

Little Miss A gladly lent a helping hand from time to time.

Lady D is a little unsure why anybody would willingly get dirty and perform hard labor, despite her reservations even she joined in.

Sir J finds the whole enterprise quite amusing, focused more on his studies, he is doing his best to keep out of it.
He did help with saving a miniature cactus.

What a great family memory and my best were my dad and I building our pond on our organic farm when I was a child .That was over 50 years ago ,but will never forget it to this day .

What a great crew. I love the design and the way you have steps going into the lower portion. From the looks of it you are very experienced and this is definitely not your first attempt. More pictures please!

Once you get the liner in and filled with water, the weight of the water will keep the sides in place... It'll sure save you a ton of work over building a wall.

Great looking pond build so far!
