Well... havent touched my outdoor pond since last September when i moved my fish to the basement pond. no pumps, no filters, no cleaning, no aerators, no attention for 10 months now...so not too bad, i quess. i did see about 4 fish in there, i must have missed netting last fall.

did sell off some plants tho.... pond rebuild is gonna start soon!!!
Hi, So do you always bring your fish inside for the winter or is the pond rebuild the reason you brought them in? I'm in Mich. too (Sterling Heights) so I'm curious about your wintering regimen and your approach to the Koi population.

So you aren't bringing your fish to the great outdoors this summer I guess if you are rebuilding?

j.w...every fish i own now has a price tag. i will be buying 4 premium 12"-15" koi for myself next spring, 2 standard fin male, 1kohaku, 1 sanke, 2 butterfly females 1platinum ogon, 1yamabuki. thats the plan now. doesnt meen it wont change but....
