Particulate filtration

I have been using livestock tanks for 4 years with great successs. 100 and 300 total gallons respectively. Want to put in a 1500 gal this summer but I have one question. What type of filter
Is there to remove floating debris. The water is clear except for larger bits of detritus that a fine net
would filter out. Would appreciate all

Floating debris can be removed if you install a skimmer.

This. Seriously it's amazing. I clean mine out every other week then replace every 3-4 cleanings. My water is crystal clear
