^^^^^This. Bagged gravel and sand from home centers is obscenely expensive and typically poor quality. Not to mention a waste of plastic.
I got decomposed granite from my local rock yard for $68/cubic yard. Home Depot quoted the same stuff at $440 for 10 CUBIC FEET. For reference, a cubic yard is 27 cubic feet.

I had mine delivered via a truck, bought from a stone yard. They delivered it with some pallets of rock.
Around 38000 lbs. I needed a lot.

That much pea gravel will weigh about 1500 lbs.
It was a lot, we tractored it in, bucket loads. Started with the wheel barrel and said forget that, went to the tractor and did not rinse it at all.
