How long after a water change does it take for the Ph to stabilize? Or for that matter after adjusting the Ph. I did a water change Fri. and the water is back to being cloudy again, but my Hyacinth are doing better. I did add some Anacharis to absorb some of the nutrients to keep from getting an algae bloom.

I would think that would be a short period of time. I've only checked the PH in my pond once in the past 8 years. I really don't want to have to add chemicals all the time, as I don't think it is that great for the fish.

I would wait at least 24 hours, letting the water cycle.

You will want to check the alkalinity of the water. If your alkalinity is high, your PH will adjust itself high, and vice versa. You need to adjust both.
