Does anyone know how long it takes Phos-X to work? My tap water is high (.50 ppm) in phosphates and that is what I filled my pond with and is what I auto fill with...So I put 2 packets of Phos-X in my biofalls about a week ago...I had a reading (API test kit) of .25 today..I am getting some string algae now so I was hoping it would continue to lower or if I should try something else? All of my other tests (ammonia, nitrite, PH) were zero (PH is 7.5-8.0) My pond is 3 months old....
