Hello
I was wondering if you could post some pictures of your ponds that have homemade filter systems, like the skippy or doc style. I want to see how clear they can get your water.
Thanks a lot!

if you'll go to the DYI section there are several pics. I made the trash master, I know I have pics of before and after my build, I'm almost certain Dr. dave has pics of the DOC filter as well

I think I have some showing the water before I added the filter and after. Not that the water was that bad before I started the DYI filter up though.

Idk if your still looking for pictures still but here's my set up. Large fish load and very heavily planted. About 80% coverage.

Tucked nicely in the corner of the shed. 55gal upflow/gravity "skippy".

Water parameters. 0ppm Nitrite, 0ppm Ammonia, 7.5PH and clearly pumping out the fertilizers. :regular_waving_emot

We do.
We are one of the top sellers on eBay and Craigs around here. There is only one more person in the area that grows them all year. We run heaters and keep it covered in the winter. We ship out 100-300 plants a day on average, not including local nursery orders or trades with the local clubs. Still can't keep up tho LOL.
