I can't find the picture of addy's pond filter piping. Or anyone's. I'm redoing my filter and I would love to see how you guys have piped yours.

Are you talking about Bog filter (PVC manifold), or a stock tank filter such as a Skippy, made with a Rubbermaid-type tub? They are two entirely different types of filters, so you need to give us a little more information to go on.

Not a bog . A Rubbermaid similar to skippys but not the same. I did not have good results with skippys. It's going to be 27gal. Rectangle tub. Thanks

Mine is just a 1or 2 inch hole drilled into the side of the stock tank, stick in a 1 inch or 2 inch piece of pvc, coat the pipe and the hole edge with pl roofing goop, inside and out, let it dry a bit. Done

I found the rubber maid stock tanks are harder to work with but the rubber type ones I bought are much easier .Tuff stuff are cheaper also and you can get them at rural king ,tractor supply and other farm stores .I saw the 40 gallon 1 at rural king for less than 30 dollars a year ago ,not sure what they are now

If you are talking about the way you put pipe down in the middle it never worked for me .I just use lava rock and a air stone in mine .I do leave a space in the bottom for settlement area

I bought one of those from Tractor supply it's huge probably 80 gal. I rigged it up as a skippys filter it didn't work and I hated it. That's why I wanted to see different piping. Thanks for the info

I really do not use much on mine you can look at my build .I put soda holders on the bottom and then put lava rock in dollar store laundry bags and then my bulkhead adapter in the tank and then I just used 4 inch pvc 4 way with a pipe attached to the bottom that sits ontop of the soda crates

I helped a member building a small bog filter out of a stock tank. Is that possibly what you are looking for?
