I have a cool tall plant that finally started growing nicely after fertilization.

It looks like Anacharis / Egeria densa, not entirely sure.

But it seems like when pinched, it splits... similar to my normal garden shrubs. As a test, I clipped a piece, pulled the bottom off, and stuck elsewhere in the pond. I'm hoping that if this works, I'll create a basic universe of these throughout the pond.

Anyone else find it easy to get these things growing?

Yup, once I added fertilizer to the pots, everything is growing like mad. I was clearly limited by some trace elements. Haven't even hooked the CO2 up, I'll test it at some point, but away we go right now.
