Pitcher plants in a water bog

Where do you get pitcher plants? I have seen some flytraps, that usually don’t look healthy

Locally they're sold in nurseries, for about $20 each! Which is funny because they're native to about 1 hour South of here.

Even funnier is that no one I know locally has ever even heard of them! LOL

I've seen 3 varieties: yellow ones that stand up straight, purple ones that stand up straight, and purple ones that hang down and have a sort of pouch to catch bugs. Mine are the yellow ones. I'd love to have upright purple ones, too, but the two that I had died :-(

What kind of floating island? Mind sharing a pic?

They are native. They survive well. To be honest they’re just scenery for my pond. They don’t really eat much insects or consume nitrogen from the pond that much. I have debated getting rid of the island. It’s not like it’s over growing itself and I need to trim it… plants in ponds that do their job need trimming cause they constantly grow.
