just interested in what pond accesories people use? especially in regard to clean the bottom

All I use is a net to scoop out the bigger stuff and sometimes when I do a partial water change I'll set my smaller pump on the very bottom and let the muck particles that collect flow out to the garden or lawn. I never wash the good carpet algae off the sides or bottom of the pond as that's the good kind.

Bottom drain system or vacuum. Depends on the pond and the owner's goals.
