I have had large koi ponds in the past and am thinking of doing it again. Previous ponds were 10 to 20 K gallons. I have used "Pond Balance" in the past for string algae control with success.

What is the chemical in "Pond Balance? "

I'm sure you could Google it just as well as I can. Is this by chance a scam to get me to check out a product in hopes I will buy it?

It looks like the company that makes Pond Balance is an English brand. I'm finding their website a real bear to load, it could just be my connection. What does it say on the back of the box?

In any case, using chemicals to control algae of any kind is just a band aid. Tell us more about your pond and your situation and we might be able to help you better.
