First time post and I am looking for some advice.
I am creating a stepping stone pond, exactly like this. I have a builder coming out next week to talk about foundations etc for flowers beds and such. I was going to get the builder to dig the foundation for the pond.
I reckon the pond will be around 6ft length and 3ft width. Can anyone tell me what I need to support this pond in relation to foundation and strength in terms of the stepping stone being able to support the weight of a person.
Is the foundation make from brick, foundation or gravel and then perspex , or is it one of those preformed ponds ? Does anyone know of any instructions guides on how to create this ?
Also - in relation to the spout is their a certain type of brick that is used to support the spout ?
