Hi guys, I’m new here but have tried to scour older posts and can’t find a solution to my “dilemma”...

I had a “pro” build a large pond and river for my father. It has a few items requiring “power”. The pond is located close to a gazebo far from the house but the gazebo has “120” hydro going to it with a power outlet (2 sockets)

The pond has 2 waterfalls (2 pumps), a large bubbler, an ionizer, a UV lamp in-line and... I’m forgetting another plug. So 6 plugs in total.

The “pro” rigged everything up into a “power bar” and tucked it into a large Tupperware box.. (yes, Tupperware)...

Can you guys recommend a cleaner fix/solution??

We are in Canada with snow, ice, wind etc.etc.. currently also have a floating heater plugged in but could live with a seasonal extension cord for that item.

I’m a-ok calling an electrician in if that what you pros suggest or direct me to some pond electrical magic box thing.

What do you mean by "power bar"? Some pictures of the current set up might be helpful.

I would get an electrician to most likely add to the 2 outlets you have & put outdoor in use covers on them.

Firstly, since you paid him to do this, ask the pro about it. Ask him if it's safe and why he's done it that way. Tell him you don't feel comfortable with that set up and why you don't.
