Birds flying everywhere, the hawk ignored them, kept looking for a frog

Found a look out point

Cool video's! I just hope the ole hawk is looking for frogs and not ground hogs. We have been watching a family of rabbits this last week. It looks like Mom must have about a dozen babies. They started showing up early last week and last night we counted at least ten babies in the field. They are just to far off to get any pics. I am thinking seriously of setting up some video cameras as well. I keep seeing yours and the more I watch the more I want! LOL

Neat Larkin, I thing the hawk is too small for the ground hogs, a small rabbit bounced in front of it, and it ignored the rabbit
From what I read they like small critters, birds, mice, frogs etc.

I don't know if you use costco, they have security systems on sale quite often. I love being able to record what goes on and share. This is an 8 camera setup, every now and then think I could use more, but 8 is more than enough to watch.........lol

My job today is to tweak the lilies, putting some in the deep end in floating hanging baskets.

The ground hog pups playing on the deck, one was eating a carrot, mom comes and takes it from the pup. Next thing we see is mom laying stretched out on the deck with her kids. One pup has decided it likes to walk in the deck pond plants, the potted ones, luckily it does not like the taste of the plants.

A new visitor eastern box turtle: A terrestrial species, commonly encountered in rich, open woodlands and riparian forests, but may also be found in pastures and wet meadows, and during hot weather may be found soaking in shallow
waters and mucks of various wetland types or under leaf litter.

It is a male, has red eyes

I probably should have removed more, but with the new ponds we have spread them out, made the floating lily squares to give them more room.

Two of my lilies, carry their blooms above the water by 5-6 inches, two others the flowers float. One makes a great cluster of flowers, usually 5-6 above water at one time, very nice pink.
