Sometimes people on this site share their excess for just the price of the postage. Others find them online at plant seller sites. You can also find some out in the wild and waterlilies can be found pretty cheap in the Spring at Home Depot or Lowes.
There are also garden plants that like to have their roots in the pond water like in between your top edge rocks or in a pot on a plant shelf Only roots in water tho. Sedges are great for this, lots of other too.

online or go to a local garden center . Koi clay and peroxide will help clear the alga also . Koi clay turns the water white and binds to algae and sends it to your filter . A little peroxide works to kill it
