Where are you getting them from? they can get expensive, but there are so many ways to get them cheap, like finding them. :)

I never hid it from hubby, but also never told him how much I spent on our rocks, 6 pallets and a truck load of pea gravel.................

Rocks are definitely expensive. I went with flagstone. It wasn't what I wanted, but they were somewhat cheap. Went to a landscaping place and literally bought the cheapest thing they had available. It ended up being about half the price of the liner and underlayment, but it was still more expensive than I would've liked, and I felt like the amount of rocks I got for that price was hardly worth the cost.

Darn...we have all the rocks we need and then some... and then some more. Sorry to brag but this mountain is full of them. When we plant a tree or shrub it seems like we pull more rocks out than soil.

We're in the Pocono Mountains of PA. We call the rocks Pocono potatoes because it seems they grow right out of the ground in the Spring. I guess it's from the expansion of the frozen soil that makes them pop up.
