Pond size vs. Flow in GPH

I've got 2 pumps: 1-295gph and 1-250gph is that enough for a 400 gal. pond?

That would be enough flow.

What are the pumps doing? Going to Filter? Circulation? Water Feature?


I believe the rule is turning your pond over once an hour.

I have the one that does 295 going to my U/V and the 250 one running my filter. The filter is a Pondmaster 1000. Right now they are just dumping back into the pond. This weekend I'm going to run both to my waterfall hopefully that's enough of a disturbance.
