Does anyone know a way to put a slope in a pond after you have built it to encourage wildlife and create a planting basin. My pond is 6m by 6m with a depth of 1.5 feet. we were hoping for it to look as natural as possible. The topography is very limited with a depth range of fewer than 6 inches. Any help would be appreciated.

Your picture is TEEEEENY. Hard to see anything at all.

Am I doing the math right - about 19 feet by 19 feet and 1.5 feet deep? (And why do you metric people always use feet for depth?) Is this pond lined? Any fish? Filtration? I'm assuming you have no planting shelves, and that's what you mean by a planting basin? Any plants currently in the pond? How old is the pond?

A bigger picture if you can would help!

If your talking side slopes that say a deer could walk in and out or a raccoon or similar. Think about this they have sharp items on there feet is your liner completely hidden and I mean like under at least 4" of material on top of the liner ?

Sorry that the picture was small here is a bigger version the pond is still in its first year and has grown a lot since the first photo, however, no new plants have been added.
